Paper Collage #1

I spent the afternoon, with not much to do on a sleepy Changhua afternoon, cutting colored papered out and piecing it together. I had no idea what would happen and this is just that. No idea. But I think this paper thing might have a future. There’s a childlike simplicity about cut-out paper glue-sticked onto each other that’s refreshing. There’s not so much concept here, as much as form and process. I want to make more of these. It’s cheap and easy. I’ll make cinch of them until I get bored.
